A Brave New World of Water Marbling!

Hello babes! Today I had a little free time when I got home this afternoon (finally), so I decided to take on a new to me and slightly time consuming technique - water marbling! I vaguely recall trying out water marbling maybe 6 months ago and failing miserably so I didn't post it... today's experiment went notably better! I picked three springy cremes to use in the marble, Essie Tart Deco, Essie Mint Candy Apple, and Essie Fiesta. Those babies are relics from the time when I was all "I'll only buy creme Essies FOREVUR." Why, me? Why so many Essies? At least they served me well today!

So yeah! This is my rainbow sherbet first attempt at marbling! I think my swirling technique could use some work, but I really liked the color combo. I just wish these pics didn't wash out the minty blue so much, it was really nice and vibrant in real life. Thanks for reading and don't forget to enter our Sparklicious Giveaway! Have a safe and fun Friday night <3 - Grace

  7. That looks pretty darn good for a second first attempt at water marbling! ;)

I heard of dry water marbling lately, you could also try it, apparently it's simpler :) I'm not saying this is not good, indeed it is!
